Well they shut up 20000 people in the Air Canada Centre they shut up 101000 more people standing outside watching on the big screen that's more like it for the Boston Bruins. The brightness down an XL to us. Frederick Peterson joins us on the AT&T like AT&T forgy LTE. According very aria. But what was your hockey America you must that PD or something moment. Yeah that could lead developer longtime played junior you have now. -- -- What specifically. -- the Bruins do from X and -- standpoint last night to produce that positive result as opposed to the negative result from game number two -- I think they've played they their game which means they attacker thought the difference between game one to. Here at home was that the -- dictated the pace of play game two it looked to me. The trial obviously has struggled in game one they upped their -- little bit they cut down there giveaways. Picked up their intensity level the Bruins didn't match at the -- up button kind of game to. Almost kind of came -- -- -- -- you know they dominated game one so. Good but so well this is going to be short series but give Toronto credit event. -- your portal that earlier they went into hostile territory and I -- really took the game to them they were critical. They were more ball they cut down of their giveaways we got the puck deep into Toronto event which I think started to expose some of the deficiencies back there -- -- young -- defense to special birdies struggled last night. And the great -- I just took over right. Pay out from a hockey player standpoint. What's more fun driving the energy from your home crowd when they go nuts when you score or shutting up to 8002 run offense when -- on the road -- an entire building. By far away winning on the road yeah especially going into a hostile environment like that a team that won. And split the first two games at home you know what it's going to be like out there Ronald hasn't had a lark you know Canada's largest city has had a playoff game in nine years they're going crazy. And you go up there and able to shut that. That's city down there's not a better feeling afterwards of the on in the Dresser when you go on the bus to go to each other -- guys' job well done yeah. And took arrest -- 45 saves the most saves in a playoff on OT playoff game by Bruins goalie since -- Gilbert did it like a hundred years. Tom. You're covering youth thing. PD do you think that took -- showed signs that he could do. Something like what Tim Thomas did two years ago I know I know unknown no one's ever been that good no one -- will be that good again. But can he carry the team for awhile here. Yet he can't carry the team especially gets the -- -- -- of us support like he has you know Sunday morning game three. The difficult part for to go I think the last two or three years when -- you know we showed some signs of stroke he's only human. It was what he wasn't getting any power play help offensively when he was to get any gold with a -- good score three or plots. Gold at night I like his chances but we -- gonna try to win the game one not figure to watch. To be more difficult but he made some key saves early and a lot of shots were distorted because of the field of third period where they outshot appointed six Toronto. But for the most part in. The first two periods and at the -- that are really good job defensively of not turning the puck over which means that the Toro can't counterattack. With their speed to get the young legs and when the Bruins defensively are able to control the pace of play controlled their gaps. Make the Smart plays then all of a sudden I think you see their offense come through but. To -- is so right now as we said going into -- Jerry one of the better young goaltenders in the National Hockey League. He saw that one year contract for a reason he had confidence in himself. Produces a portly competent team that you could go deep in the playoffs and he is one of the best young goaltenders indeed going to be one of the -- atop the league bolt -- National League ought to playoff. All by I know we as a better glove and then primer and that. It what do you think happens if the Bruins go up 31. Is this gonna deteriorate. Into a a slugfest like we saw in Ottawa is -- no I don't -- a lot of fighters involved in the series. Well even know Toronto led. -- the league in fighting a lot of their fighters now have been moved to watching the game because they just couldn't keep up. Which -- pretty -- the fourth line in game one so I don't think that's going to be the case. It's pretty hard to take the Bruins and try to run them on the building they are physically tough they're balanced. Every every line has got some physical players on it. And they're strong defensively so it's really pretty hard to the have a deteriorate that way I think. From the trial standpoint the way they're built with there young speedy forward. The other trying to get back in the series so offensively knocked through. -- -- various sort of touched on this but aside the advantage the Bruins have over the -- with Rask verses primer. Also the -- tough guys can play and contribute offensively and defense he believed tough guys not so much right. No definitely that's one of the that's one of the things that made this team successful last three or four years -- the way to constructed is that. You know that the Milan Lucic had a frustrating year this year by his standard and when he's on his game he is a very special past that he's one of those guys. That when he's playing his game of musicality what he's checking when he skating that his offense. Feeds off that as we saw last there was some great plays of David -- ticket to another level. But you know that all the said he had him go Bergeron was. Was very quietly so strong in the pocket -- Beverly started to go to some dirty areas and on the fourth line last night by eight Campbell -- -- world fly -- he had ballots. But boy with a Bruins play their physical game they are hard team to compete. That's about the best game we've -- -- playing quite some commonly discretion happily was taken the bodies certainly set important for the game for the game winner in the one that broke their spirit. -- it I think that was the key gold maybe just started to activate. -- council voted Gardner -- made it two to one -- climate back into you could kind of feel all the sudden acquire a building starting to get Boise again. And then all of a sudden 31 event for what kind of quieted the crowd down but that really I thought got them going it was a great example of how. Deep in the world and they did a good job. -- defensively moved it up important event Lucic just took over 10101 battle with the phrase or defense. -- important. The last you know these first three games are doing a much better job of going to the net where a good things seem to happen and as we know in previous runs when he gets hot look out. 47 seconds into the third period council corralled the loose puck in front from the slot makes it 42 on the power play at that point -- look at the Bruins are back on the heels trying not to lose as opposed to trying to win. Is that something that just happens naturally within your psyche as a player and as a team the coaches at change what you're trying to do out there to try to protect -- lead down the stretch. No idea I can hear a lot of the back to the bench just yelling screaming -- hey listen don't change what you're doing keep making plays restart if he keeps -- trouble. He got that lead to start I think the pocket start just fighting around the boards. But the Bruins go to the middle of that period did a better job of controlling the puck having some good break out getting the -- the making plays. But when Iraq that way and you're also trying to make sure maximum -- a little bit trying to to keep her off at some guys led by counsel. Quiet. That's a natural tendency. But I really thought for the most part the Bruins even when I got -- to -- its people from -- he was not panicky whatsoever he was confident. And the Bruins never felt pressed all that much. -- doubt who's in your opinion was a better hockey player Phil Kessel or on Tyler Sagan. I think -- good end of the entire stated simply because and I think we've seen that even -- Tyler right now are struggling a little bit offensively I've seen things in his game but I really like as he continues to mature. He's checking better he's playing better away from the other -- which is the key in the Claude -- system tactic is also the key Randy Carlyle system. And what have to happen is in this game especially come playoff time you've got to pay attention defensively and not -- bill. Struggled he obviously is very gifted offensively. But to Ronald as a team has a deficiency that we -- in game one in three that if you pressure them. They'll turn the puck over the have a tendency to beat themselves a little bit and that was definitely shown. In the game 100. They -- may be on inventing this but I don't think I'm inventing this idea it seems to me that once again you armor you -- makes a blind no look. Back to the guy passed the -- on the guy's tape up Italy's goal to -- -- and was exactly that he did -- in game two and in game one. What is involved in his skill set to let -- let them do that's so successfully. Well first of all it's fearless you you know an all or the -- a -- -- -- -- player like he has been his entire career you have to be willing to try -- other players wolf because. They they -- bad that they make one of those that not that it doesn't work but with the governor yarder. If the strength now lol I don't think people just realize how strong he is not the only other guy like people -- that strong from the waist down. Was ray Bork and the situation where you are regard to get that -- he has such good hands but. It's almost like watching about -- dale I talked about last night that you don't get that ball. Down at the post to a big government -- the -- -- he does her power for his back you radiant. With his back turned to a younger has that they would believe that when he has that -- defense. With the rules being forced the way they are now they can't clutch and grab a mechanical community able to take it to the net. This puck possession is so good you started to see I think Beverly gave picked up a little bit I think Chris Kelly still have to get his off. Offense going a little bit -- he was. Beverly and Kelly were tremendous on -- soft plot by with that which they really needed. So if they can get yarder going and I think the other key last night due to me that we didn't see in game two which is that one of my. Big pet -- with this team all year long when they struggled. With power play opportunities. Going into the all we have one power play opportunity that means they're not -- in the pocket the dirty areas debacle were gets a little bit ugly it works on comfortable. Last night they at least through three that means yarder going to be able to play power play -- as well as regular time and that's where he. Or perhaps you're sort of answered my question a little bit my last question -- what you just said but what is -- say or do today and tomorrow to skate to make sure there's not a repeat of a let down from game number two to game number one. Most of the veteran team has been through the wars and you have seventy guys who return from their cup run they know what they have to do I think -- -- -- game three by going up and get the job done to me. Don't K good thank you go out there right from the opening face -- -- dictate the play where they get themselves also in trouble which is what happened last year in Washington. I thought they concentrated so much -- all that -- and hunter was Smart about it in the coaching staff point to what you guys Google that much after of -- I just won't play him. And that means your top two lines aren't gonna play I'm gonna try to beat you with my third right -- and laughter they were better. When the Bruins come out here or there may dictate the pace of play it okay worst capital will let Chara Seidenberg worry about him but more importantly. We've got to go out offensively and dictate play get the puck in deep get the body's going to take the body. Get throttled back on their heels. And try to capitalize on turnovers and get some traffic in front of the net and when you look at the goals and Horton scored their all in front of the network he needs to be. I assume you saw the Toronto maple -- moron -- in the scandal that Ronald stronger is -- and to offer a free ticket to a game here in Boston bring the signed up with them. No I don't think that would be -- safely put you know dale was always thought it was good yeah so what brought out up and it was just one of those situations where you go you know what. He got some jackass stuff they're making -- a very positive experience. Pretty negative quick. Now Augusta when you are always a pleasure talking populate you'll talk to down the road I don't know what Mary -- -- the Tennessee Callahan on the AT&T outlined AT&T forgy LTE. Which speeds up the ten times faster than three GAT and T re think possible still come on this edition of Dennis and Callahan. Opera -- vote in the 9 o'clock hour some NBA basketball taught me Stephen -- Smith rumors by him the Bruce Bullock thinks about that.
